What is an EAP (Employee assistance programme)?
An employee assistance programme is support provided by an organisation for their people to help with their professional and personal challenges. It is of huge benefit to both your people and your organisation. Your people get access to help quickly and confidentially. The organisation sees an improvement in work performance.
How does an EAP work?
We provide promotional material so you can advise your people how to contact us. This can be via a 24/7 helpline answered by a professional counsellor. We also provide access to the Mynurva App with resources such as podcasts, interactive resources and helpful guides.
How much does an EAP cost?
The cost of an EAP depends primarily on the number of people in your organisation, but also on the industry you are in and any specific requirements. Most organisations are surprised at the low cost per person and the high return on investment.
Mynurva provide a good quality, safe and good value service. We aim to provide a valuable service by looking after your people – enabling them to work or study more effectively. The value to the organisation of an EAP is huge.
Are EAP’s confidential?
The Mynuva EAP is a confidential service. Employee assistance programmes are built entirely on a platform of trust. Employers know this, and employees can rest assured that anything they may say during even the first call to an EAP will go no further than the advisor they speak to.
What types of help do you provide?
We provide a 24/7/365 phone support line that is staffed by trained counsellors to provide in the moment support. We do not set time limits for this. the counsellors can provide immediate in the moment mental wellbeing support, but also signpost to support for areas such as finance, housing or physical health.
For those who prefer a messenger or chat instead of phone, we provide a chat line staffed by trained counsellors.
Where appropriate we provide unlimited sessions of stuctured counselling including CBT (steps 2 and 3), EMDR, grief and relationship counselling.
We provide a range of resources and tools, ranging from mood trackers, customised articles, podcasts and a very extensive video library.
Do you provide Critical Incident Cover?
We do provide this, and can have trained therapists onsite within 24 hours.
This is an additional paid service beyond the EAP provision but can be actioned very quickly – for deployment next day.
